Classical concert serving as an incentive for young people

Christine Rauh

How touching, when children come queueing after a concert performance, looking up with big round eyes full of proud, presenting their newly purchased CD hoping for an autograph.

Weeks after a concert:

“…My small grandchild was so thrilled and searched the Internet for more concerts with Christine Rauh. He even wanted to drive all the way across Germany from Koblenz to Hamburg with me! “She is stuck in my head”, he told me last week. Since the concert he practices the cello – hellbent and determined! He will receive her photos printed out as a gift for his birthday. Many many thanks, you have given us great joy. Best wishes, Sabine T.*”

Over the past years I observed with great delight that these encounters can reveal a whole new world and be very inspirational to young people.
